In this video I go through the process required to identify a market. Indicators to look for to see how difficult the competition will be to beat. Market research and picking a market is an extremely important part of online marketing. For the purposes of this website don’t spend too much time on it as any topic that meets the criteria I lay out in the video below can be profitable and that is the objective!

2. Identify a keyword in the market that meets the following criteria

- 100 searches or more per day – https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

- Phrase to broad match minimum – 15% ideally – 50% or higher

- Average CPC minimum – $0.5 ideally $1 or higher

- 15,000 competing websites in google - http://www.google.com

- Weak competition indicator – Hubpages hub, ezine article, yahoo answers, squidoo lens, buzzle article or similar in Top 5 in google for target keyword

- EXACT MATCH DOMAIN NAME AVAILABLE – .com is ideal but .net or .org will work – it is very important to get an exact match domain name
